What to do
1. Kill power at the disconnect

2. Clear debris from the fan orifice
Remove sticks, leaves, or ice. Spin the blade by hand only with power verified off — it should turn freely.
3. Note capacitor labels for the tech
Photograph the µF and voltage stamp. Do not short terminals with a screwdriver.
